This website (Site) is operated by Wired Auto Electrical and Airconditioning Pty Ltd (we, our, or us). By accessing, browsing, or using our Site, requesting a quote, or booking a service, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy (Terms). Please read these Terms carefully and immediately cease using our Site or services if you do not agree to them.

1. Variations & Content Accuracy

We may, at any time and at our discretion, vary these Terms by publishing the updated terms on our Site. Materials and information on this Site (Content) are subject to change without notice. While we use reasonable endeavors to ensure accuracy, Content is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute technical or engineering advice for specific vehicle setups.

2. Workshop & Onsite Service Terms

2.1 Estimates and Quotes

Any pricing, quote, or estimate provided via our Site, email, online booking system, or phone is indicative only.
Final pricing is subject to a physical inspection of the vehicle, wiring, and existing components by our qualified technicians.
If additional faults, corroded wiring, or hidden defects are discovered during work, we will seek client authorization before proceeding with additional billable labor or parts.

2.2 Mobile & Fleet Breakdown Services

For mobile breakdown and onsite commercial fleet services, the client must provide safe, legal, and unrestricted physical access to the vehicle(s) at the designated site or depot.
We reserve the right to decline or suspend mobile service if site conditions are deemed unsafe by our technicians under QLD Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.

2.3 Customer-Supplied Parts & Components

We provide strict warranties on our installation labor and on components supplied directly by Wired Auto Electrical and Airconditioning Pty Ltd.
We offer zero warranty, liability, or guarantee on customer-supplied parts, secondhand components, or third-party supplied wiring looms. Any labor required to diagnose, remove, or replace a failed customer-supplied part will be charged at our standard hourly workshop rate.

2.4 Vehicle Storage & Uncollected Vehicles

Vehicles remaining at our Slacks Creek workshop facilities longer than 48 hours following notification of completion (without prior written arrangement) may incur a daily storage fee of $35.00 + GST per day.
Vehicles uncollected after 30 days will be handled in accordance with the Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act 1967 (QLD).

2.5 Manufacturer Warranties & Authorised Installs

Warranties on specialized products (including REDARC, Century Batteries, Victron, and Autowatch Ghost 2 systems) are governed by their respective manufacturer terms. As an accredited installer (REDARC RedNetwork, Century AEC, ARC License AU54909), our labor guarantee runs alongside manufacturer warranty terms.

3. Use of Site & Prohibited Conduct

You are granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable, non-transferable licence to use our Site in accordance with these Terms. You must not do or attempt to do anything unlawful, prohibited by law, or which might bring us or our Site into disrepute, including (without limitation):

Anything that breaches an individual’s privacy or legal rights;
Using our Site to defame, harass, threaten, or offend any person;
Tampering with, modifying, or knowingly transmitting viruses, trojans, or disabling features to our Site;
Using our Site, images, or Content to compete with our business or generate advertising revenue on external platforms without prior written consent.

4. Intellectual Property & User Content

Unless otherwise indicated, we own or licence all rights, title, and interest (including intellectual property rights) in our Site, branding, logos, graphics, and custom build photo galleries. You must not copy, reproduce, retransmit, or distribute any Content without our express written permission.

If you submit reviews, vehicle photos, or inquiries (User Content) through our Site, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and publish such content for promotional and verification purposes.

5. Third-Party Links & Integrations

Our Site contains links to external sites, software, and tools (including third-party supplier links and external booking platforms such as MechanicDesk). We do not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for third-party content, booking availability, or privacy practices.

6. Warranties, Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law):

We make no warranties that our Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses.
We are not responsible for any loss, damage, direct or indirect expense, or vehicle downtime suffered by you or any third party arising from your use of our Site, reliance on Site content, or temporary site outages.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless against any liability, loss, damage, or expense suffered or incurred by us arising from or in connection with your breach of these Terms, unauthorized use of our Site, or unlawful conduct.

8. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms or our services, the claiming party must provide written notice detailing the dispute. The parties agree to meet in good faith (via senior management) within 7 days to attempt to resolve the issue before commencing formal litigation.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts operating in Queensland.
